Supporting charitable causes

We’re proud to support charity organisations that make a difference both in their local communities and around the globe. We believe that as a globally-operating business, we have a responsibility to ‘give back’ where possible.

Among the initiatives, we have supporting Working Options, an education initiative that provides free employability and life skills programmes to colleges and schools. The programme includes skills workshops, access to industry events, work experience and placements.

To support the charity’s Bridge the Gap initiative, Clasado team members covers over 4,650 miles by running, cycling, swimming or equivalent exercise, the distance between Clasado headquarters in Reading, UK, the base of the company’s US Sales Director in Denver, Colorado.

Investing in the next generation

Clasado remains dedicated to the next generation of innovators and is proud to create employment opportunities in the exciting biotechnology sector.

As well as opening new roles as we extend our reach into new health and nutrition markets around the world, we believe that we have a responsibility to help nurture talent. We have an active and highly engaged development scheme that welcomes future-focused graduates looking to begin a career in life sciences and biosciences.

We aim to help young people get hands-on with a successful and fast-paced business, while building strong gut health knowledge and developing valuable business skills.

Engaging with academic institutions, Clasado supports the growth and development of students working towards qualifications in health, nutrition and biosciences.

Sustainability

We believe that sustainable growth requires careful control of resources and the living world around us. As a leading global prebiotic developer and GOS supplier, we understand that our international operations come with responsibilities and we aim to contribute to a greener and more environmentally aware industry.

Alongside constant development and auditing of our procurement, manufacturing and packaging, as a team, we aim to take every available measure to reduce our carbon footprint.

Through constant improvement of operations and logistics, exploring technologies and implementing workflows that minimise impact on the natural world, we aim to play our part in creating positive environmental and social change.

What’s more, we believe that true sustainability is a team effort. Every single member of the Clasado team has an important role to play in protecting the world around us.
