Illuminating prebiotic science: Clasado to share new scientific poster at IPC 2023

Clasado Biosciences, developer of the multi award-winning prebiotic ingredient Bimuno® GOS, will be participating in the 16th International Scientific Conference on Probiotics, Prebiotics, Gut Microbiota, and Health (IPC 2023).

The conference will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia, from 20th – 22nd June 2023. Centred around the latest gut microbiome understanding, the event seeks to pool collective knowledge and strengthen the wider biotics category.

During the conference, Clasado Biosciences will present a scientific poster that summarises three key human intervention trials in the health benefit areas of gut, immune and brain function, as examples from their extensive research portfolio providing scientific substantiation of the beneficial effects of their Bimuno GOS ingredient.

By sharing this knowledge with the scientific community and healthcare professionals, Clasado Biosciences aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of gut health and its impact on overall wellness. Dr Ged Baltulionis, Senior Scientist and IP Manager and Dr Georgina Dodd, Senior Scientist and R&D Project Manager, from Clasado Biosciences, will be presenting the poster at the conference and available to discuss the content with delegates.

Dr. Baltulionis commented, “At Clasado, we firmly believe in the power of collective knowledge, particularly regarding the use of prebiotics to improve health and wellbeing. Our prebiotic galactooligosaccharides ingredient, Bimuno GOS, stands out as the most studied ingredient of its kind, backed by more than 110 published scientific papers covering its safety and efficacy. Our extensive primary research demonstrates the significant role prebiotics play in promoting digestive and gastrointestinal health, enhancing the immune system, and even supporting cognitive function. We are excited to share a snapshot summary of these insights with the scientific community at IPC2023.”

The IPC conference is an established platform that brings together renowned experts and professionals from the field of probiotics, prebiotics and gut microbiota. It provides an ideal setting for researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives to exchange knowledge, share best practice and foster collaboration in this rapidly evolving field.

Clasado Biosciences invites all IPC 2023 delegates to connect with its team to learn more about the advancing role of prebiotics in health and wellbeing.
