Clasado Biosciences (‘Clasado’) will be attending the upcoming European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (‘ESPEN’) Congress on Clinical Nutrition & Metabolism.
Taking place 3-6 September in Vienna, Austria, the ESPEN event brings together all corners of healthcare and medicine to share knowledge and explore the future of nutritional health.
The congress features a programme of speakers and sessions that delve into the latest nutritional science, and what it means for practitioners. The ESPEN event aims to showcase the scientific innovation set to improve nutritional care around the globe.
Clasado Biosciences, which hosts an active healthcare professional engagement programme, will be in attendance to speak with delegates about the evolving role of prebiotics. In attendance will be CEO Per Rehné, R&D Director Dr Lucien Harthoorn and Business Development Director, Dr Luis Gosalbez.
Dr Lucien Harthoorn, R&D Director at Clasado Biosciences, said: “The ESPEN congress is one of the premiere events on the healthcare calendar, and we’re delighted to attend and connect with the industry over a shared passion for nutritional innovation. We, of course, look forward to sharing our own scientific insight from studies of Bimuno® GOS, where its effects on areas such as gastrointestinal health and immune function have been explored and may well point towards the future of nutritional strategies in health and disease.
“We also look forward to connecting with our partners at medical nutrition product developer Medtrition Inc., on booth #29. The business uses the multi award-winning Bimuno GOS in Banatrol® Plus, its medical food product designed control the length of time and severity of diarrhoea while supporting better gut health. It’s a fantastic example of Bimuno GOS in action within medical nutrition.”
