Clasado to take part in Frost & Sullivan Biotics Think Tank event

Clasado has announced that CEO Per Rehné has been invited to join an expert panel for growth consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan’s Think Tank on the biotics category.

The virtual event, ‘Next-Gen Biotics: Precision Biotics Innovations Transforming the Consumer Wellness Landscape’, will take place on September 25th at 9 AM EST. This Think Tank will outline the latest advancements in precision biotics and nutraceuticals, exploring their potential to revolutionise consumer wellness.

As a panellist, Per Rehné will share insights drawing from Clasado’s extensive experience in developing its scientifically backed prebiotic ingredient, Bimuno® GOS.

Per commented: “I’m honoured to be invited to participate in this important panel discussion. As the biotics market continues to evolve rapidly, accelerated by a more proactive health-driven global consumer audience, it’s crucial that we come together as an industry to share knowledge and insights. That’s the surest way to develop health and nutrition products in line with tomorrow’s consumer needs. The Frost & Sullivan Think Tank provides an excellent platform to explore how next-generation biotics, and prebiotics are a brilliant example, are transforming consumer wellness by putting the focus firmly on the gut microbiome, and its role in addressing specific health needs.”

He added: “At Clasado, we’ve long championed the power of prebiotics in supporting gut health and overall wellbeing, and the scientific evidence backs that up. I look forward to contributing our perspective on how precision biotics are opening new doors for health and nutrition brands and their formulators and discussing the exciting innovations on the horizon.”

The invitation comes at a time of significant growth in the nutraceuticals sector. According to data from market intelligence firm Grand View Research, the global nutraceuticals market was valued at USD $712.97 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.4% to 2030.

“With such strong market growth projected, it’s an ideal time for formulators to discover more about the potential of next-generation biotics,” Per noted. “The shift towards self-directed care and the rising demand for dietary supplements with proven benefits present significant opportunities for innovation in this exciting space.”
